How Texas A&M is Using Social Media

Texas A&M has been a leader in the adoption of social media.  The Daily Beast recognized the university’s adept social media use and unparalleled following on Twitter, foursquare, YouTube, Facebook and Pinterest and pointed out that Texas A&M “has become adept” at using these social media outlets “to create excitement around campus developments.”

Additionally, Texas A&M’s Facebook page was listed as one of the Top 10 Facebook pages in the U.S. — and the only institution of higher learning to be listed —in 2012, based on high engagement (e.g. likes, comments, and shares).
