May 30, 2025 Marketing and Communications Update

Howdy,

We are less than two weeks away from our first workshop and are excited to see this full room of colleagues. As we continue to create and build resources for this community, we will roll out those resources to you each week. When we created our agenda for the workshops, our teams wanted to create deep dives into specific areas of practice. We will communicate about those deep dives in this communication and the weeks to follow. Thank you for all the work you do, and we are excited to see many of you at our first workshop.

Access ready-to-use templates for flyers, presentations and other materials that align with the Texas A&M brand, provided by our Creative team, to ensure brand consistency and a quick start.

You can find the current selection of templates on the MarComm website

Please note: We are planning to review and update these templates over the summer, but feel free to utilize the existing resources in the meantime.

Photo Styles

Over the summer, the Visual Media team within the Division of Marketing and Communications will be conducting stock photo shoots to boost the number of photos that you have access to. These photo shoots will focus on the four photographic styles presented during the brand platform launch. If you need a refresher, please review slide 161 in the brand platform launch presentation deck to see how these styles are brought to life.

While we capture more photos in these styles, we would like to know what styles you need and would like to see prioritized. You may submit your feedback by submitting the online form.

Fall Ready Roadmap

Reminder: What Is Coming June 10

This May, we’re delivering on our promise to provide a more detailed plan for our fall-ready/fall-engaged brand resource rollout. Below, you’ll find a list detailing key deliverables like new photography, b-roll and creative templates, each with a specific target release date. These tools are designed to help everyone seamlessly transition and be “in character” by Sept. 1. Please review the upcoming release schedule to prepare for these new assets.

  • Brand Guide and Brand Book — The Brand Guide is an extensive digital and print document offering a comprehensive explanation of our brand standards and usage. Complementing this, the Brand Book, available in both print and digital formats, serves as a narrative booklet designed to beautifully articulate our brand’s story and essence. These will be available by June 10.
  • Photo Drop 1 — These new collections, arriving digitally by June 10, will incorporate the new photographic styles and will be ready to enhance your projects. We will have other drops this summer, ensuring a continuous stream of fresh and new imagery.
  • B-Roll Drop 1 — Available digitally by June 25, these drops will showcase an array of video styles to add to your repertoire. Alongside this initial digital offering, anticipate additional video releases throughout the summer, providing you with more dynamic visual assets.
  • MarComm Site Update — We will enhance our online experience as we update our MarComm site. This digital refresh will seamlessly incorporate the new brand language, providing a clear and consistent representation of Texas A&M’s identity. Alongside this initial web update, we will continue to evolve the site with further improvements and content. Updates will be made over time, with the initial round of edits completed by June 10.
  • Creative Templates Release — Updated and brand-new creative templates are being released for community use. These readily accessible tools are designed to elevate your visual communication. Look forward to continuous additions and enhancements to our template resources over the summer, with the first drop by June 10.
