Claw Machine

The Division of Marketing and Communications brought a Texas A&M-branded claw machine to the university’s Student Recreation Center to generate excitement and welcome students back to campus. The machine was filled with jewelry, shirts, hats, pregame football passes, one-night stays at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center and more for students to try their hand at winning. To play the machine, students were asked to follow @TAMU and @TAMUbrand social media channels.

Result: 1,500 prizes won by students over three days; 209,234 organic social media impressions and 5,700 organic video views.
