During the 16th Annual College Colors Day on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, Texas A&M University and the University of Texas revived the Lone Star Showdown rivalry to bring awareness to hunger in America and help those in need in the Austin and College Station areas. In partnership with Wells Fargo, for every purchase of officially licensed Texas A&M or UT merchandise on Fanatics.com from Aug. 10-Sept. 4, 100 meals were donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank in Bryan for Texas A&M or the Central Texas Food Bank in Austin for UT.

Fans were encouraged to follow social media accounts for Texas A&M and UT to see messages about the Lone Star Showdown program with a link to make qualifying purchases during the campaign.

Result: 199,400 meals donated to Brazos Valley Food Bank with an estimated 554,486 campaign impressions.

Collaborators: CLC, Wells Fargo, and Fanatics
