Texas A&M has such a rich history. Who better to tell those stories than Aggies themselves? By partnering with StoryCorps, a national oral history project, we recorded 40 interviews with current and former students, faculty and staff who told their unique and compelling Aggie stories. StoryCorps brought its retro Airstream trailer equipped with a recording studio and parked it in front of Kyle Field and we invited the interviewees inside to relive their favorite Texas A&M moments. We also facilitated multiple recording stations around campus for continued recordings. Each interview has been archived in the Library of Congress for all time. The Division of Marketing & Communications created a StoryCorps website featuring these audio interviews. We later featured a dozen of these audio stories with corresponding murals at a weeklong exhibit at the J. Wayne Stark Galleries.

Result: A total of 575 people attended the gallery exhibit; the Texas A&M StoryCorps website had 6,807 page views; and total website video plays were 1,880 with the average video being played 45 times.
