Virtual Tour Content Requirements
Media Assets Used In Tours
The Division of Marketing and Communications will capture 360° images and/or videos for you to use in your tours when requested. Your local unit is responsible for creating and curating any other photo and video assets used in your tour.
Photos
Photos can be embedded in hotspots within 360° scenes and within cards in gallery scenes. All images should be .png or .jpg files less than 50MB in file size.
360° Photos
360° photos are required to be able to create a 360° scene. The Division of Marketing and Communications will capture 360° images for you to use for this purpose.
Videos
Videos can be embedded within cards in gallery scenes or hotspots in 360° scenes. YouTube is the preferred hosting option for videos used in virtual tours.

Written Content

Splash Page Introduction
Two to three concise sentences to introduce your unit as a whole, not necessarily the tour.
Search Meta Description
One short sentence (recommended less than 160 characters) to display underneath the headline in search engine results. This description should make sense out of context.
Scene, Hotspot and Card Content
Each scene, hotspot and card will need a title and descriptive copy. If left blank, we will pull content from the application website.
