Design Counsel
Design Counsel Meetings
Design Counsel meetings are open to any staff member who interacts with the university’s visual identity on a regular basis. Featuring a range of topics and guest speakers, these sessions aim to equip and inspire attendees to become confident, effective visual storytellers of the Texas A&M brand.
Meetings are held from 9–11 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. Locations may vary and will be provided in the RSVP form and reminder email. While we strongly encourage in-person attendance, a virtual option is always available.
Outside of monthly meetings, the Slack channel, #design, is an active space used to share questions, ideas and updates regarding visual design.

Community Resources
Our visual language sets the tone for how people see us initially and how they recognize our brand thereafter. This includes typography, photography, graphic elements and color. More significantly, all these pieces work together to convey our message and strengthen our overall brand.
Integrating these accents into your Texas A&M marketing materials helps add visual consistency to our brand. For more details about creating and using these elements can be found in the Visual Style section of Texas A&M’s Brand Guide.
We have provided an array of templates for use by marketers and communicators across campus to help foster a consistent representation of our brand.
