Request a Mass Email or Opt-List Distribution

There are two types of templated internal communications: forced-send emails, where faculty, staff and students cannot opt out, and opt-list emails, where faculty, staff and students may voluntarily opt in to receive emails from different units across the university.

Both types of communications use university-approved platforms and templates that support accessibility, visual style consistency with the Texas A&M brand and, depending on the intended audience and communication type, the appropriate required headers and footers.

Mass Email and Opt-List Policies

In partnership with community leads across Texas A&M University, mass communications provide timely, relevant updates and information for faculty, staff and students. Opt-lists provide a supplementary communications tool for elective or optional internal communications.
