Texas A&M seal usage is restricted to correspondence from the president’s office an official documents, such as diplomas and some certificates.

Unit Identities

In some scenarios, campus units can use a unit identity that combines their unit name with the Texas A&M TAM logo box. Special considerations for unit identities or logo usage apply depending on organization type.

Academic units use the Unit Identity system to combine their unit name with the Texas A&M TAM Box Logo.

Units that communicate primarily to a campus audience may use the TAM Box Logo alone to represent the official university affiliation, or use and official Unit Identity.

Registered student organizations are encouraged to create their own unique logos. Unique logos for student organizations MAY NOT include or incorporate trademarks licensed by Texas A&M, including logos, icons or taglines without approval from the Office of Business Development.

The definition of and approval process for Texas A&M University System centers and institutes can be found on the Texas A&M System website. When creating unit identities for centers and institutes, use the same guidelines provided for colleges, schools and departments.
